- i've been selected as september's guest 'jacker' for the kiwi jack me up blog. basically i have a few weeks to troll the blogs and galleries of kiwi scrapbookers and secretly pick a layout. then myself, and the rest of the KJMU crew create layouts based on my selection. fun huh?- i'll also be contributing layouts for this sketch blog during september.

- i got a job interview!!!! FINALLY!!!!! when i told my girls i had to complete a spelling test at the interview, miss 10 said "mum! spell miscellaneous!" too cute. i'll be posting separately on the experiences of my first job interview since 1908...- we won the rugby - yeah! i realise this probably won't interest anyone outside of nz or australia (well, aussie lost, so really no-one outside nz) - but we won - YAY!!!
- non-blogger friend joh hosted a local crop on saturday. i didn't get to stay for long, but i started and nearly finished two layouts. she plans to host them every month (yay). it was great to see what everyone else was working on and what yummy scrapping supplies they had been buying lately.
- i received 174 comments during the bloggy carnival giveaway. feel the bloggy love!

- tara's miss 9 turned 10 and had a sleepover party. she wanted all the food to be 'mini' so i delivered to her 25 of these puppies...
- miss 11 and i made these cupcakes in the weekend. go see blogger friend nikki for the recipe and come back friday for the photostory.
and yes, that ooey, gooey caramel-looking topping was ooey, gooey and caramel-tasting!happy wednesday everyone!

Those cupcakes look delicious. I visited my grandmother this past weekend and she sent me home with a box full of homemade treats. My sugar levels are through the roof.
