wordful wednesday - the working girl's work/walk wardrobe

no, i'm not going to turn into one of those women that talk ONLY about their awesomely new fantastic job (which it is, by the way...)

if you ride the train into the city, you'll see a lot of women dressed like this...

a well turned out 'top half'
and a terribly practical 'look' from the knees below
but remember i live in a hill
this big hill here!

I don't blame you for the shoes at all then. Practicality will save you from sore feet.

A new job....a walk to work....climbing, working...you're going to get yourself very fit and strengthen your whole body!!! Way to go!

My Wordful is all about the fascination of toilet water....to 'kids'. Come by if you can find some time today, won't you? Happy Wednesday.

Lucky you to walk to work - I have a 30 minute commute on a busy 8 lane interstate driving 80 mph. I hate the commute but enjoy my job. Wish I lived close enough to walk or bike. Good for you, Sue!

that's great! brings back memories of when i worked--i used to wear tennis shoes with dresses all the time--no way I was going to walk to the train in heels!

What, no stilettos? Are they in your bag, then?

When I used to work downtown I always thought it was funny to see well dressed business women wearing sneakers. :)

Women in the city walk around like that all the time. They can send a man to the moon but they can't make an affordable practical shoe that doesn't look like gym shoes or grandma's shoes.

I see people walking in the mall that look like that . . . their called "mallwalkers".

;)

You look cute and excited!
