my page 3 girl (in the wholesome non-tabloidee kinda way!)

the buzz continues around here after cross eyed mary's win at rockquest on friday night.

yesterday (sunday) there was a photo shoot in civic square for our morning paper 'the dominion post' - wellington's equivalent of the washington post (well, sorta).

me being the total cheapskate that i am, photographed the photographer!
my girl sure can strike a pose
even when no-one else is...
i think this is my favourite, and not because i'd unwittingly captured the photographer's 'builders' crack!!!'
the feedback's been amazing! i think every second person reads the paper in this town

Saw the paper in a cafe and idly turned a page or two and stopped when I saw the article and photo - wow! Told Shirley (the friend I was with) all about Katelin and the band etc etc.
Are there national finals now? when and where?

Now that's some crack. I wouldn't have noticed, but once I did.....it changed everything. :)

funnily enough I saw it last night when reading stuff online lol. I thought I recognise those names and faces. Very cool article.

She must be so jazzed about this, I know you are too. I think men know about the crack and do it on purpose.

This is just incredibly awesome! *throws a rock n' roll hand gesture in the air*

You should be so proud of her musical talent and I hope she goes far with it!

I'd love to hear her band, if there is a way to do that. Do they have a myspace or webpage?
