it's monday so we must be in hong kong

we may be flying coach, but we still have access to the first class lounge, thanks to mr scrappy's years of work travel.

that means during our 4 1/2 hour layover: a hot shower, comfy sofas, welcoming staff and of course FREE FOOD AND DRINK!!!

(it really doesn't take much to keep me happy...)

so, before madness descends (ie, we walk off the plane and back to our real lives and the girls demand their "i heart [insert appropriate city here] t-shirt", and "did you bring me anything else?" - because let's face it, kids will be kids) - some closing thoughts on our past 2 weeks:

- it's been amazing

- bloggy land is a small and loving place

- one day of rain out of 14 (thanks london)

- rome is awesome

- my empty suitcase now weighs 24kg

- rome is awesome

- i love rome (particularly the shoes, the boots, the clothes and the men). oh yes, AND the food, AND the atmosphere, AND the ruins

- rome is awesome

- naples is scary (but also awesome)

- whitstable is also awesome

- no final number on photos taken, but probably well over 1500

watch for a 'mr and mrs scrappy's silver anniversary trip by the numbers' post

...and if any of you out there have any sympathy for me (coz y'all have all been so supportive and kind with your wedding anniversary comments!) - spare a thought for me - i have to go back to work at 9am after landing at 4pm the day before.

do i hear violin strings? no? ah well, worth a shot...

Ohh I've always wondered what the first class lounge was like :) Hope your trip continues to be awesome!

It IS a little hard to work up sympathy for you - but going back to work like that WILL suck. Yeah - that acknowledgment is as close as I'll get.

I always pictured Rome as awesome - nice to have confirmation!

Can't wait to hear all about it once you're back in a normal groove...
