wordful wednesday: first day

i was going to post one of the posed pics i subjected the girls to this morning

miss 13 off to her first day of college (high school),
and miss 12 off to her last year of intermediate (middle school),

but then i figured that this pic right here more accurately reflects what goes on in a family kitchen ANY day of the year, not just the first day or the last day, or someone's birthday

just a day

making lunch

getting a hug from dad

forgetting to put the milk back in the fridge (my bad!)

so, how was your DAY?

Our mornings look a lot like your mornings except we do it in two shifts. Jim and Reid in the first and Kate and I in the second. :)

Happy back to school!

My day was wonderful -- going to the hairdressers without children will do that for me! What a great photo and idea for a blog post too!! Will have to remember one of these days to take a photo of any day in our busy kitchen too!!

Happy WW!!

I forget that your years are so different than ours. Our first days are back at the end of August - of course my boys are only 7 and in elementary school (not sure what you call it). But either way - we still have the same mornings, making lunches, giving hugs.

Again - happy SITS day!

FOUR daughters!! That means they each get THREE sisters!! Too lucky!

I love the everyday stuff, and I think it is fabulous you take the time to capture it. You have a beautiful family!

Enjoy your SITS day!
