we are so lucky where we live to be surrounded, not only by beautiful hills and mountains, but walks and tracks that are bursting with native flora.
all this is LITERALLY on our doorstep, so when the day was so sunny we just HAD to get out and do a walk, it was up Bell's Track we went.
miss 19 happily came with us (perhaps only because of the promise of food at the cafe at the bottom of the hill) - but join us nonetheless she did.
we weren't too red in the face here, so i guess we'd just started!
your target - that tower waaaaaaaaaaay in the distance
(mt kau kau)
we'd all forgotten how steep this track is!
nearly there (yeah right!)
yep, we walked over these 3 humps (and many others)
you can see the track on the left if you look closely
i reminded her several times that she's 28 years younger than me
it didn't appear to motivate her.....
the view from the top
our place is just off-camera (bottom left hand corner)
that's wellington harbour
we went slightly off track (to this peak) to take pictures SIMILAR to the ones below
that were taken almost 4 years ago
so, that's me and the girls standing outside our garage
mr scrappy and miss 19 were probably practicing on our new telefoto lens
a 15 year old 'miss 19'
big hugs to cecily who usually hosts/co-hosts PSF
many of you will know that her blog/s and FB a/cs were hacked which is an absolutely tragedy
i'm sure you'll join me in wishing whoever did this
an infestation of a thousand fleas in their armpits!!!
