photostory friday and the right royal wedding party

i was planning on watching the royal wedding at home, but was very happy to receive an invite to my zumba-buddy nicky's royal wedding party!

she downloaded some printables to 'brit' up her cucumber sandwiches...

princess maisy got in on the act too!

wine for the royal subjects

and we were instructed to wear our own wedding veils!

which i did!

i downloaded these kate middleton masks - quite convincing, don't you think?

shy royal wedding watchers

and i made cupcakes and used these gorgeous downloadables from living locurto

cute huh?

apparently taking a photo of the tv is a bit twee, but i don't care!

i'm a real royalist (is that a word!?) and was very excited to watch the wedding

i thought kate was calm and poised, and certainly seems more prepared than di was, for the life that awaits her.

Looks like a wonderful time was had by all those in attendance.....it was a beautiful wedding and ceremony. I agree with your comment about her seeming more prepared and poised than Di.

cool party!!!
we SO need another high tea event!!! and as for kate being more poised then Diana....9 or so years of extra life experience will do that to you (that and being MORE in the media/royal life before hand then she was!!!)
love the veil too

That looks like so much fun! I love that you each pulled out your own wedding veils. :)

I love it. What fun! I slept through it all and watched it on Tivo. But I wish I had thought of the cute idea to get my wedding veil out. Ha!

What a fun bunch of friends you have!

I just wanted to tell you that your recent comment encouraged me to put up post on my blog. Nothing exciting, just a crafty thing I did the other day. :)
