welcome to my corner of the blog world! i love step, boxing, zumba, scrapbooking, photography, watching movies, walking the hills of my suburb, my family, and life in wellington.
take some time to have a look around and be sure to say hi!
"Will you walk into my parlour", said the Spider to the Fly
it's raining, i'm bored - and standing in the rain taking photos is way more exciting than any of the other things i should be doing right now (like planning a menu for next week and ordering my groceries online) - yawn.....
You know for a 'newbie blogger' you sure know how to pump them posts out. And they're great!
Is it raining in Wellington? whodathunk...
I like your blog I do. I saw your groovy Electric Avenue post and I thought I could so relate... being an 80s chick and all... Do they play Wawanee and Devine? Thompson Twins, Spandau Ballet, Mel and Kim and MC Hammer? Noice...
Hey, I knew a man who lost the use of his legs from that cable car in your banner... Is that near the Botanic Gardens? If so, I remember being in that cable car that cost the man the use of his legs... Not at the same time, mind you... but it was freaky for me at the age of 7 to know that I was in that cable car before it ran over the mans legs. Its probably in bad taste that I am telling the story of the the mans legs this way but its not intended to be that way but hey... I've 'done' that cable car... and I'm going to hit "publish comment" anyway... =D His name was Bob Wiki.
hey lynette - i had to google wawanee and devine! i thought you just made up a word!!! i found 'sugarfree' under one hit wonders of the 80s lol. it's really funny coz everyone at electric avenue is half our age and know all the words coz the 80s are cool right now (who knew?) whereas at boogie wonderland (which felt like a retirement home when we walked in!) everyone who was there remembered the songs FROM THE FIRST TIME!!!! lol so funny.
and it's not so much raining as misty and cloudy and - well, it's raining too - but still warm!!!
yep the gardens are at the top of the cable car. i googled bob wiki too but he's nowhere to be found. famous for a short time in 1973 and that was it. poor bob.
thanks for the snaps re my blog - i'm havin some fun with it!!!
Sue you are blogging so much I cannot keep up with you! You are making me look real bad- HA! Lynette are you disappointed you cannot nudge Sue about not updating?
