our government, in their infinite wisdom, lowered the drinking age from 20 to 18 a couple of years ago. thankfully zoe is more than happy to go out with her girlfriends and dance all night, rather than drink. of course on her 18th birthday she had a drink - because she COULD! it was a tough decision, but in the end she settled on a black russian. because she'd been working all day and came out to dinner on an empty stomach, she very sensibly sipped at it until our meals arrived.
we're sure proud of her!
i used to do a lot of creative memories calendar pages (remember those?) but with the wonderful PSE i can make layouts using lots of teeny, tiny photos! now if only i could photograph it straight... scrappy michelle was in charge of projects for our weekend and she picked up these very cute hangars. this is hers, featuring none other than the scrappy chicks from a scrappy weekend in 2005. this is scrappy sara's project. she made it for her 18 y/0 daughter who has just moved out of home to university (that's college to you north american folks out there) and here's mine! i think it's missing something...i'm going to add pictures of the scrappy chicks too. this prompted sara to exclaim "i want to make another one!"
THE END!!!

You are so gifted with the skills and patience to make such lovely things. I know I cant make anything that nice without gluing my hands together.
thanks sand! we do get a lot of paint on ourselves tho :)
yum!
i'm totally lifting the blue one with all the photos.
Your drinking age is 18? Our drinking age is 19. Natasha has a bet going with her Dad that she won't drink until she is 20 years old. AND she won't she loves the idea of the money over a drink. LOL
Love you layouts. VERY pretty! I like the blue one too! Have a scrap happy day! =)
Love your weekend projects, very creative. Our drinking age here is 21. Hoping my guys will be responsible when there time comes.
Have a good day!
As a parent I am thankful our drinking age is 21 here in the US. I just hope to raise these kids to make wise choices.
Love the layouts and you know something I rarely paint on my layouts- I think I have messy issues...don't like getting paint everywhere.
