mo' mojo monday, and my first poll

i know the title doesn't make any sense, but i just wanted to use 'm' words, coz it's monday and seeing as it's my blog, i can do that ok??? i'm also hoping that i will get back some of my mojo by writing the word.

i guess i still have a bit of jetlag (i ain't 44 anymore!) AND i had a migraine yesterday, so i guess i'm operating at around 85%. my head feels kinda thick and i have a laundry pile that won't quit. still, if that's the worst of my problems, i'm doing ok!!!

these 2 pics are for amanda, who has challenged all her readers to take self-portraits, and to post them - GOOD OR BAD!!!

as you an see, i went with the BAD. in my defence, i'm a lefty and i was sitting on the girls' right...and now i'm out of excuses. bad photo, but i have no shame, and amanda said it would be ok...

that's me, daughter #4 and her friend at a local netball game

3 of the 4 scrappy chicks at #4 scrappy chick's house. scrappy chick #4's 'S-O' was turning 40. remember tara? aka "she-who-can-get-5-in-a-self-portrait"; or tara - "she-with-the-very-long-arms". when i made a mini album for tara, there was an entire page dedicated to her self-portrait photos.

and now for my very first poll (and it's a snore to be sure)...

i'm bored with blogger already. i hate the way it loads photos at the top of the post rather than where the cursor is, and don't get me started on the whole line spacing drama. so, here goes:

So I'm not the only one with spacing problems. My view is, let them know the problems and they will fix them! How does anyone know how to improve otherwise? (I think this is the teacher in me wishing blogger to improve rather than abandon it!) Anyway, hope you don't have problems attaching your award to your blog - see my 5 April post. Cheers!

Thank you for doing the self picture. You did great! That Tara is really good at that isn't she?
As far as the blogger thing goes, I have a problem with change. What if you changed and then some of us could never find you again? Anyway, there would probably be problems at that other place, too. Just stick with blogger for us.

Sue the way I see it I could go to Typepad but with lots of good things in life they are not free. Blogger is a pain with the spacing and I am about tired of trying to figure out my no click on pictures fiasco, but remember we pay nothing, nada, zilch for it. Have you sent them a complaint?

I agree with Melinda. Yes blogger does have a few kinks. BUT it's also free. Try using it with firefox. It acts up even more then. I have patience for it b/c it's free.

Unless you really do hate it and have zero patience, then by all mean jump ship.

hahahah! Move to wordpress!!! :) Actually it's never really played up for me plus it's free plus it gives you the option to reply via email to commenters if you so desier plus when you make the move you import all your posts from blogger and it's as if you were never on blogger.

Plus I'm there! :)

No really, I don't see so many people complaining about WP as I do about blogger. I found the move seamless when I did it.

Blogger is frustrating, isn't it? I'm not sure what to do myself. I didn't answer your pole because I would fit into a category something like, "I don't know... change is scary..."

Let me know how it goes if you do switch over. and Good luck!

If you don't want to do anything snazzy with it and just post pics and stuff stay with the freebie. I would try wordpress if that's free. See how you go by running two sites for a while... should give you some time to make up your mind.

I have typepad and it costs me about $80 a year. Still, I get lots of widgets and stuff which are pretty cool and I probably don't use it to the fullest but I like the templates available. Up to you...
