sitemeter attempts world takeover

...starting with internet explorer and blogger.

so i was minding my own business today blogging away (using internet explorer 6.0) and then without so much as a please or thank you, IE6 decides it won't load my page.

it was a sad and lonely day here at my home wellingtontown,until....

i discovered i wasn't alone.

at least SEVEN curious other bloggers had gone to blogger buzz HQ (which wasn't really buzzing at all) and i discovered that SITEMETER is crashing internet explorer.

we don't know why, or how, but we know this...

if you remove your sitemeter HTML - all will return to normal.

i put my sitemeter html back on my blog and it crashed again, so i removed it. again.

with any luck, when i get up in the morning, the busy beavers at sitemeter will have sorted it all out and normal service will be resumed.

side note: watched 'i am legend' in HD tonight. (it was crap btw). it was either that or the hannah montana concert in 3D (without 3D glasses). you can see my dilemma.

peace out...

Yeah, I was a little disappointed in the I am Legend movie, too. I think I would have rather braved Hannah Montannah without the glasses.

Hey Sue,
What's up with STILL using IE anyway? It's prone to every bug and wierdness in cyberland. Why not switch to Mozilla Firefox and alleviate the headaches. It's very user friendly, and nearly every single application works with it. It's got lots of fab add ons that IE doesn't have also! Just an idea! Here's a link just in case!

I absolutely LOVE my sitemeter and would NOT give it up..."I'd rather switch than fight!"

Lovies,
Paula Clare

I guess I am in the minority .. I liked I Am Legend .. mainly because I like Will Smith ... and it wasnt too scary .. have you seen Cloverfield? THAT was scary but I liked it well enough to say rent it

I only use IE on my office PC .. here at home I have both Safari and Firefox on my Mac ...

I am sorry you had issues .. and I am glad it seems to have resolved itself

Good to know. I saw several people having issues a day or so ago, that must be why.

Try StatCounter instead. There's also been a problem with internet connectivity due to an update from Microsoft - so many angry internet users!

btw Google Reader doesn't acknowledge your existence now either! I keep popping in though to see if I've missed anything.
