wooo hooooot wednesday

- here's my last layout as guestie layout person for little shop of sketches. if i haven't said it before, i'll say it again - i LOVE sketches!!!

- i won the september contest at better scrapbooking to get the most photos on a layout.

i was given this by hootin' annie

and this one by mel!
thanks gals!

- wooo hooooot for my first decent LATTE in 2 1/2 weeks which i practically inhaled!

- and for the 4 day weekend (just gone)

- petrol dropped 13 cents in the 2 1/2 weeks i was gone

- i have already had some holiday pics printed and hope to scrap some soon!

- my wooo hooooot would not be complete without a picture from new york (but which one to pick?)

i chose this arty shot of the brooklyn bridge. it's a mile long and teeming with tourists and school field trips - cute! the children had worksheets that posed such questions as: "what do you see?" and they wrote answers like - "a boat". so cute.

- and lastly woohooo for the weather i had every day of my trip. the sky was THIS blue. EVERY DAY.

Looks like you had a lot of fun! I never have been to New York in the Fall, but I will definitely have to go then sometime (I usually go in the hot & sweaty summer)- it is great that the weather was nice for you the whole time. Was Kansas nice too? The weather here is usually very similar to the weather and temps in Kansas City, though here it is a bit on the dry side. That pizza looks YUMMY- I am going to add that to the list of places I want to go. My fav NY spot is H&M, but you probably have one of those in NZ, I am guessing? I loved your pic of the cowboy- you are so brave!
Loved your daughter's cat blog btw- that was funny. One time I had a cat paw through my pictures while I was scrapbooking- they really are nosy things!
I am feeling fine, thanks.
I am glad you had a great trip!

I love your Brooklyn Bridge shot but how can you not get a decent latte for 2 weeks, I mean NY is teeming with coffee places ?

Hi Sue! Welcome home! So glad to see you're posting again! You were missed!

Your shots of New York are wonderful...hubby and I went pre-9/11 so all of our photos have the twin towers in them...it's like a wake up call every time we see the New York skyline...

Blessings to you!

Love the shot you got of the Brooklyn Bridge. Reluctant is right, you do have an eye for pics. Can't wait to see how you use the tea cups. Those were gorgeous.
