photostory friday - is it too soon to tell you...

we're planning our next trip?

well, we are!

where are we going you may ask?

i shall tell you by way of a picture puzzle.

see if you can figure it out...
...and we might even try and make it here.

there's a prize if you can guess where HERE is.

this giveaway EXCLUDES the person whose blog i stole it from!!!!!

well done mel! being the tight little blog family that we are, you correctly figured that the cutie sitting on this beach belongs to this cute couple
and thanks for playing along sass. leaving the pic on your side bar was a fun idea.

i'm so excited to meet you guys! my reasons are THREE-FOLD:

1) the hour and half train trip to get to their place (me likey train travel)
2) i've always wanted to visit the 'seaside'. ok, i live 10 minutes from the beach, but the english 'seaside' - so quaint!!!
3) recaro has some cool gadgets that might end up in my suitcase...
4) sass is a daring baker
5) peaches is too cute!

(ok - clearly there are LOTS of reasons i can't wait to meet these guys)

The first photo is from London; the 2nd photo is Rome...not sure where the beach is located. You're taking a European vacation for your 25th wedding anniversary! Woo hoo!

HMMMMMM..... London, Rome and Santa Monica beach (or whatever one it was that they did the big fern on it for waitangi day last year)

Super cool trip plans. I loved Rome when I was there - although working around an 8mth old's nap times was a little on the testing side. That and the uzi-toting cops that would swarm and hover at all the cool touristy spots then take off again.

well i think celebrating your wedding anniversary overseas is a fab idea. Enjoy the UK and Rome, not sure where the beach is. What a great Christmas you and the family had. Loved looking at the photos and reading what you got up to. Happy New Year Sue. BTW I like your one word "find"

I'm totally clueless, but it is a really fun way to share where you will be spending your anniversary.

Somewhere far away?

I thought you already were far away!

Happy New Year, and Happy Anniversary!

Ok, so I am SO NOT geographically inclined. I got the first two but the last...that is a doozy!

At any rate, I hope you have a FABULOUS time and enjoy every second. Can't wait to find out what is on your agenda.

Happy New Year!

yep - italy. we have friends who are turning 100 this year (she's 50 next month, him in may). they are child-free/less and are renting an apartment in rome for 3 months, the middle month being our 25th wedding anniversary, which i think is DESTINY!!! my sister is in the UK and a couple of fun bloggers i hope to meet too (there's your hint)...

Ha! I think maybe your clue gave it away, perhaps?!? Um... maybe not.

Is that the beach near where Sass E-mum lives? Hang on... while I go find out the name (I'm SO bad with names)... Whitstable. That's my guess, anyway.

What an amazing trip! Happy Anniversary, too! And Happy New Year Again! and just !!!!!! Whee!

The first one is easy, London, I was there this summer. The second one is in Rome, one of our favorite cities. The third one is a hard one. I have it. The beach is a English beach. There is a little red at the bottom of the bird picture and the photo of the little girl sitting on the beach has a little red on it. The foot prints are also the same. Please let me know if I am right.

Oh boy! Congrats on all those years of blissdom. :) Looks like a fun trip!
