haven't done much lately, but what little i've done i'm showing you now

there's actually a funny story that goes with this layout. the sketchbook friday night challenge was to scraplift or scrap in 'megan style' (because it was her birthday). i thought they meant megan from better scrapbooking, so off i go and wish her a happy birthday, then lift this very quick, yet effective layout.

of course they meant a totally DIFFERENT megan didn't they? i felt like a total twat! the good news of course, was that i lifted TWO megans in one weekend! here's the first one
and here's the second one. 2nd megan is apparently obsessed with owls.
scrapbooking was clearly the winner here!
the sketchbook friday and fortnightly challenges have now merged to become 'weekly challenges', and the first was to write a letter to our children (for mothers' day). i liked this challenge.
this was based on a sketch for creative scrappers
and up until friday, this [office] layout was the most recent scrapping i'd done (and that was almost a month ago!)

i did a daily photo challenge (which i'll eventually blog), but ended up doing a separate layout of my office and building as a result of all the photos i took
then on friday (my day off), i thought i'd finally figured out the time difference and had the time to do creative scrappers one hour layout. in the end, i called in to see a friend and by the time i got home, there was only 5 minutes of the challenge left!

i thought about it for a minute - looked at the clock (the girls weren't due home for an hour), then thought 'to hell with it' - i'll do it anyway!

so i did!!! (with 12 minutes to spare!!!)
then yesterday, after my one-hour-less-12-minutes creative scrappers layout, i got a burst of enthsiasm and decided to make this mini album which was created by hannah.
hannah is a sketchbook contributor, and this is the mini mothers' day album she made.

it's made with jumbo playing cards ($2 from price busters!) hannah left the playing card side as it was, but i decided to use some photos of ME!!!

...and here's my take on it
that's it for now!

Love all your recent pages and this little flip book. I am going to be taking time to scrap over the summer. I can't wait.....only a few more days until freedom.
