wordful wednesday - what's wrong with this picture?

give up?

well, there's a small (by american standards)

texas-plated chevy tahoe

parked in my local supermarket carpark!

(please note the dreary weather :(

the couple driving it must have just got to new zealand, because the steering wheel was still on the left! (you have to change it by law when you get here)

can you imagine?

driving a left hand drive

on the LEFT hand side of the road??

the LEFT side of my brain can hardly even imagine!!!

Wow! That's something you don't see every day!

I was terrified to get behind the wheel on the RIGHT hand side when I got here! But you get used to it. Such a cultural shock!

Seriously they took a car halfway across the world! And you can actually move a steering wheel!? That is definitely something new and unusual. Hope the dreary weather's not bringing you down...

LOL Maybe that's why they parked like that?

Crazy! I can not imagine driving like that!

Happy WW!

I didn't even know you could change the steering wheel to the right!!

And they have parked very badly too. It would have made me mad if I'd been trying to get into the park between those two cars!
I'm still enjoying reading your blog, Sue.

I can't imagine driving with the steering wheel on the "wrong" side Sue! *laughing*

I didn't know that you could change the steering wheel to the other side once the car is built. Or do you mean that you have to buy a new car?

I am easily confused at times. :-)

Yikes! That had to be tricky to drive like that! Hopefully they know they have to have it switched! LOL!

Years ago you were allowed to use a left hand drive around here - I always thought how the heck do you see ahead to over take? Now by law it also has to be changed. I see they also do not know how to park properly ;)

I would wreck my car in 2 seconds flat! Thanks for stopping by yesterday!

OH man, I would make sure I wasn't on the road at the same time as them! Plus they don't even know how to park in the lines! ACK!

I definitely would not be SAFE driving over there! Most days it is hard to do here in the US! Happy WW and thanks for the great picture!

Haha, my brain can't quite wrap around it either, but that's because I'm used to the left side of the car. How expensive is it to move the steering and gadgets to the opposite side of the car?

AND they didn't park very well either! hee hee

That is very interesting. I had no idea that it would be against the law not to change your plates right away. But it makes sense. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I would be too scared to drive any where that doesn't drive on the same side of the road as I do. I'd be too afraid I'd forget.

That makes me feel sick---a crazy man must've done it! hahhaha

that is funny and it sticks out like a sore thumb doesn't it!

Wow, it seems like it would be better to buy a car there than to have it shipped & changed over!

Looks like they can't park very well either!
