for 7 hours yesterday i thought seriously about going to blogher 2010, but then...

because blogher 2010 is in new york, and you all know how much i HEART NY, but then i realised the 2010 version of the conference i JUST ran is on the SAME DAY! even tho i get to set the date for the conference i organise, the trip still wouldn't work *sigh* - but for 7 hours i was off dreaming about another trip to the states, and then how i'd jump on a plane and meet this awesome blogger - but it'll have to wait!

so it's a beautifully calm sunny saturday afternoon here. we spent the morning at netball and very shortly, i'm off to have one of these...
i brought tara one for her birthday and she said it was A-MAZING, so i can't wait!

and for the inner geek in all of us...

this photo was taken while i was out on errands yesterday.the time stamp was

12:34:56 7/8/9

[lunch time on the 7th of august]

and then just because i could, i took this one
with a time stamp of

7/8/9 10:11:12

[a bit after 10 o'clock last night]
i only stayed up long enough to take this pic

this working girl lark is tiring!

looking forward to a saturday night in. we're going to watch 'an officer and a gentleman' - haven't watched in it YEARS!

miss 12 and i are going shopping tomorrow, then it'll be back to monday again!

what are you all up to this weekend?

whatever you do, make it a good one!

EDITED TO ADD:

MASSAGE WAS AMAZING
SO RELAXED NOW...

HI! Stopping by from SITS and so excited to see you are in Wellington! I am in the states but lived in NZ a few years ago to work for a year. I traveled to Wellington when I was there and loved it. Just had to say hi!
Have a great weekend.

Oh well. It was nice while it lasted...

And can I please have one of those hot stone thingies???

I still can't make up my mind whether or not to go. I'm bad with advance planning. And I live waaaay closer to NYC than NZ!

Cool, I would never think to take pictures at neat times like that!

I could use that massage, I have a kink in my neck and it won't go away! Going to Matt's 20th tomorrow. Supposed to have a heat index of 105! ugh. They are having a picnic outside and then a dance in the evening. I will be a sweaty mess at the picnic. Matt was class pres. so he is in charge of it.

Love the pic!

I need to be like you and start running! I'm getting a jelly belly.

Thanks for commenting on my blog!

And very nice 6WS. A massage sounds good. Heck, sleep sounds good now that I think of it. Hah.

Have a wonderful week!

I'm scheduling my next massage for next weekend and I can't wait!

Thanks for playing (I really want one of those cupcakes in your header).

GAH I missed 7/8/9!! I love stuff like that!

For some reason, 12:34 plays a huge but irrelevant part in my life. Seems like I'm always glancing at the clock at that very moment. Weird, but yeah, irrelevant.

Glad you enjoyed your massage - I'm always giving things like that, but never getting... boo!

Oh wow! This time I'm the awesome blogger you mention. I'm so flattered.

If you can find a way to get to NYC for blogher 10 I`ll meet you there. Come hell or high water I WILL MEET YOU THERE.

I want to go anyway and you would just add that much extra incentive for me to make it happen... somehow.

I've never tried massage. I'm dying to try it and those hot stone massages look amazing. Maybe I'll start with one of those.
