i thought mr scrappy might have lost his mind when he handed our 12 year old the electrical thing that buzzes to cut his hair.
miss 20 usually does it, but she's hardly ever home these days and he got sick of waiting and was too stubborn to go pay for a haircut! perhaps that's because i kept suggesting it!
i cut his hair ONCE. i took a TEENY tiny CHUNK of hair out of the side of his head and he never let me near his hair again. some people are so fussy!
i wasn't bothered - it's not a skill i particularly wanted to work on anyway!
anyhoo - i watched through parted fingers, but wouldn't you know it - she did an AMAZING JOB!!!
i think she may have knocked miss 20 off her perch!

Glad it came out OK. I tried to "trim" my boyfriend's hair once and, let me just say, I probably won't be asked to do that again!
I think it's so cool for her to cut her daddy's hair. :)
Well done to Miss 12! I usually cut all of my boys' hair, although my 16 yr old daughter has taken to doing it now as well.
Wow!!! I don't know if my husband would trust one of my kids to do that..LOL!!
That is so cool! What a wonderful father/daughter moment! Twelve year olds are wonderful--fearless, helpful, capable!
Well I think that's a great idea! Good for her (and him!). :)
He looks so calm. Glad it was a successful barber session! :)
And think of the money she'll save him. I'm super impressed!
Very impressive! I think since Princess Nagger did a number on her own hair when she was 4 that my hubby probably wouldn't trust her to cut his hair when she's 12...or 20! ;)

Hey! Great job - We, I, do the home buzzcut for Husband over here. Yes - to save #. He doesn't have as much hair as your hubby, though! :0)
That's awesome! It's great that he trusted her. :)
Well done to her! I cut all 3 my boy's hair myself.
So cute how hard she is concentrating. Looks like she's doing a great job.
I cut my boys' hair and hub's too. It's too late to stop now - hubs refuses to go anywhere else because he knows he can get it at home for free (heh - sounds dirty, but it's not)... It makes such a huge mess, though!
