wordful wednesday: rookie mistake

so miss 19 (as she is as of yesterday) was hanging out with some friends a few days back when they decided to play with his slug gun (kinda like a BB gun)

as you do

miss 19 had never held or shot a gun before (as should be the case!)

and held the BUTT of the rifle up to her face before shooting it

AS U DO

when you've never shot a gun before

ROOKIE MISTAKE!!!

the dark patch beside her nose is now turning a lovely shade of purple

she likes to tell people she got into a fight in town with another girl (they went out after hanging out at the friend's house), but we all know she's a lover not a fighter

...and i'm sure that's one mistake she'll never make again!

Wordish Wednesday

Oh my goodness, that would be a big shock to get smacked in the face with the butt of a rifle. Yiks!

Well part of me is very sorry that such a thing should happen on/near her birthday. Another part of me feels that it's just desserts for playing with guns, cos I loathe 'em. Hope she's healing up fast and will soon look her usual beautiful self - and that she stays away from guns of any sort in future!

Woah! That looks sore. I bet the phrase "You could have had your eye out!" was mentioned in your house that night!
