wordful wednesday and how life goes on

some of the moments i feel truly blessed, are when opportunities arise to spend time with my girls (particularly the older ones) that i know i wouldn't have if i was in paid employment

such an opportunity occurred yesterday

miss 20 and her 2 best friends had been to the funeral of a girl they went to college (high school) with.
their friend was 19 and an absolute light.  she was one of those rare human beings that ACTUALLY would have changed the world.

the girls had dinner at our house after the funeral and i suggested that we all go out for brunch the next day

(my brunch - yuuum!)

the day was an absolute stunner

after breakfast we went for a walk along the beachfront

having just eaten - it was a little too soon for 'jumpy pics', so they just waved instead!

i hope they know how precious they are

Great pictures Sue. How nice that you took your daughter and her friends out for some fun after such a sad occasion.

I will do everything in my power to make it up to see you in March. It would be so much fun to meet you and Angie in person!
