Day 27 GIVING THANKS: Show and Tell

visit a friend who's had hammer toe surgery on BOTH FEET.  AT THE SAME TIME!!

this is Chrissy.  we met when she moved into the house directly across the street from us almost 15 years ago.  i knocked on their door proffering a plate of iced biscuits, and the rest is history, as they say.

many, MANY fun nights (mostly parties) have followed over the years, and i'm glad to call her a friend.  Chrissy is one of the loveliest people you will ever meet.

i still remember the day when i pulled out of our drive (complete with brand new baby in the back seat) and Chrissy was coming out of HER house with her girls.

I motioned to the back seat of my car: "this is natasha bull" i said, and she replied motioning to HER daughter - "this is natasja bell!"

that baby is now almost 15 and Chrissy's daughter has a child of her own and is about to move into her own house (fingers crossed - they're looking at houses this week!)
