well, he actually doesn't have a name yet, what with 6 people in this house all wanting difference names and no clear majority. we can't even decide on what CONSTITUTES a clear majority, let alone a name for him!names that have been floated (and no judgement please) include:

- nigel
- shiro (it's apparently japanese for samurai male)
- chang
- monty
- cole
and hurry! as you can see, he may well be loved to death before he even has a name...

I like Nigel. I've always found very proper names for pets delightfully funny.
I'd call him Mr. Whiskers were he mine. Of course, if he was mine I'd be covered in itchy hives - not a good look!
We call our black cat Gus because he is a little goofy
