'stlab gige realtek won't work' and the randomness

if there was ever a shadow of a doubt i married a geek...i found the above arrangement of letters in a google search box when i sat back down to my computer recently;

but then he thought that occam's razor was a spam filter, so maybe there's hope...

thanks to mamageek for my 'fewest hypothesis assumptions' lesson of the day...(oh yes, i know science. i went to princeton remember)...

my top favourite songs (in no particular order) are:

- bad case of loving you, robert palmer
- last resort, the eagles
- open arms, journey
- waiting for a girl like you, foreigner

yes, i'm a hopeless romantic
yes, i'm old

if you don't exercise for two weeks straight then run down the side of a mountain, your legs are going to hurt like H E double L the next day.

i miss amanda. she hasn't updated her blog since january 30.

213 sleeps until we leave for italy. god, i'm such a freak - i surprise myself sometimes.

3 of my children are going on camp next week, yet somehow we don't get the house to ourselves for even one night.

my husband is cooking me dinner right now. i luff him very much.

i signed up for a cupcake making class.

i can't wait to turn 50.

actually, i can't wait to PLAN the party for when i turn 50.

how many people noticed that my top 5 song list only contains 4 songs?

today's the last day of summer and it's miserable. well, wet and warm to be specific.

i love all my blog friends.

i'm going to stop talking now.

I want to come and live next door to you.

Cupcake making and husbands cooking dinner, how will NZ let me in ?

This is now becoming a serious obsession this emigrating malarkey

I miss Amanda too, even though I get to see her 3-4 days a week. I mis her blogging regularly.

How's work?

I love every song Journey ever made - actually, I love Steve Perry and bought his solo album after Journey's demise. Wonder what happened to him?

Turning 50 was painless. I sneeked by with no party, no fanfare, no spotlight. Aging gracefully without anyone knowing. But I'd LOVE to help you celebrate the big 5-0!

I LOVE your album (previous post)! I enjoy seeing your projects (actually I enjoy scraplifting your ideas). Thanks!

I hope your weekend is enjoyable, Sue :)

I think working for a living has started to affect your brain, Sue. What was that post about?!

How fun. I love these kid of posts. I'm sorry about Amanda. My first bloggy peep that went awol scared me. I kept wondering how would I know if these people I get so attached to had something happen to them? (She ended up being just fine, just took a couple of months away from the computer). Maybe Amanda is doing something exciting.

I didn't notice you only had five, was too busy reliving them in my head. :-)

Wow, what a post. That was a lot of information in on post. When will you be fifty. I had a great party and loved it. All my family and friends in one spot at one time. It was fun. Who was counting the songs? Have a great week.

Agree with Working Mum about the post; also with Debra about the mini album (I have one of those packs from $2 shop with the idea of using them for a mini; where did you get the round page?)
Am working Richard around to the idea of a 125th party sometime in September/Oct - when are you going to Europe? Don't want a clash of dates!
Cheers,
Margot
