the first day of the school year is always special for me.
mostly, because it marks new beginnings.
everyone is relatively rested and looking forward to getting back into routine, and the weather is usually still pretty good!
today is the first day of intermediate for miss 11. she follows her 3 sisters and is the last 'b' girl through this school. because there's only a year between them, she'll have her sis, miss 12 there to help smooth the way.
(our middle school is only two years, and i'm thinking that it's probably the equivalent of the 2ND year of middle school in north america.)
not a bit nervous. one of the plusses of being the youngest; having seen it all before!
new school, new school year, new hair dos!!! (how cute are they?)
