what a week!

thanks to the 131 commentators who left such lovely words on my blog, especially to those who took the time to take a look around.

i've 'met' some fabulous bloggers and am still making my way around the blogs of those who visited me. my inbox hasn't been flooded with emails, so i'm guessing i haven't won any (yet!) that's what i get for living at the end of the earth!

For those of you who read the post directly below this one; had a huge giggle AND answered my trivia question, i wanted to let you know we now have a correct answer.

well done to 'pondside' who answered correctly, that 'at the hop' was #1 on the American Charts in 1958 (coincidentally the same year 'our chrissy' was born). see her comments in the post below. check out her blog and see where she lives - THE ABSOLUTE DEFINITION of idyllic.
