wordful wednesday: done.

my 365 came to an end 5 days ago

i loved every minute of it

didn't miss a day

although, it wouldn't have bothered me if i had

i love that i can touch, feel and turn the pages on our year

(in the past i've done my 365 online)

my picture on june 6th was miss 14 reading the entire album

she'd help me file the new photos, then spend AGES pouring over the album

love. that

project 365

this is the photo i took on february 1st LAST year

and this is the photo i took on feb 1st THIS year.

as 2008 was a leap year, there should be 366 photos scrolling around in that slide show on my left side bar. life, however, being as it is - there are gaps. may 12 for one and a couple in december and january too.

i usually take photos on a daily basis, however making a point of taking one a day was an experience i really enjoyed. i discovered that whether you are capturing a special event, or simply documenting the business of daily life, there's a story in every day.

all the best to those who are just stepping out on their project 365 for 2009. i hope you enjoy documenting your days as much as i did.

365 (which is technically 366)

...or in my case - 335 (coz i'm a late starter).

i've been hearing, seeing, reading all about these 365 challenges. ali e is doing the self-portrait one; my friend colleen from all about eve and club cupcake scrapshop is taking a photo a day, and they're not alone if you take a gander at flickr.

so, starting backwards from today...

daughter #1 in green, and one of her besties who has just returned from a year in peru with AFS. as u can see, they are very happy to see each other again
